Basic Instructions for Playing Craps Online

Craps is one of the oldest dice games around, yet it still remains a popular pastime today. With a simple premise of wagering on the dice roll's outcome against the casino or others, it has quite a reputation among both casual and expert gamblers. Its history is clouded, but is thought to have been shaped by both early English and French influence before coming to America courtesy of a French gambler and politician. This early American version had a loophole allowing people to cheat with weighted dice, but today's version eliminates that risk. What else is different about today's version and what are the benefits of playing craps online?

The basic rules we use today at Slots Jungle Casino are easy - players simply place their bets and roll the dice to begin. If your number combination is rolled, you win! The complexity comes in with the many different betting combinations and choices. There are also many symbols and lines on the board that can look confusing at first but don't worry, you'll soon be able to identify the places on the board where you will place your chips. Then, you will take turns shooting a pair of dice while the rest bet on the outcomes. The shooter bets at least the minimum amount on one of two lines: the Pass line or Don't Pass line. A bet on the Pass line assumes the shooter will win, and a bet on the Don't Pass line assumes that the shooter will lose.

There are two phases that will occur during each round. In the first phase, the Come-Out, the shooter throws at least once. An outcome of 2, 3 or 12 is called a craps the Pass bets will lose. An outcome of a natural, or 7 or 11, is a win for these bets. More Come-Out rolls will be made until reaching an outcome of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. That number is then declared the point, and the second phase begins. If the shooter can roll the point number, the outcome is a win for the Pass. If the outcome is a 7, then these bets lose and the round is over. Although it may seem complicated, you will find that after playing craps online a couple times, you have easily gotten the hang of it.
